Since the weather was supposed to be rather poor this weekend, and even snow was forecast for the Black Forest, I accepted an invitation to Taubergießen today.
Despite all the forecasts, we were lucky and it stayed dry up above.
A cozy little hike that's sure to be very nice in spring.

A complete contrast to yesterday:

Today, under brilliant sunshine and spring-like temperatures, the hike was a delight from beginning to end! 🤩🔝

The contrast between the expansive dry meadows and the riparian forest crisscrossed by streams could hardly be greater.

The Taubergießen nature reserve is incomparably beautiful here (especially near Dornskopf)! 🤩

The frog concert …

Very nice little hike.
Much past the water, beautiful pieces of forest. Nature reserve
You should wear waterproof shoes as you sometimes cross a stone bridge that is slightly flooded.
Whether it depends on the season, I can't say
