The route was rated as moderate.
I would say difficult.
Many steps and often too high. And very often up and down. All rugged paths like in the Alps.
Since no food can be taken on the way except a free drinking water connection in Port Quinn, you should take enough water with you

We started another tour in Cornwall in Port Isaac. I know the place from the Fisherman's Friends, but what we heard everywhere was "Doc Martin"; unknown to me personally, but must be a fairly well-known British TV series.
The place is very touristy, but the fishing boats are still in the harbor.

21 degrees in October!
Unreal weather for a trip down here 🥵☀️
The finale was really exhausting. At first again. Cornwall's wild coast, strenuous narrow and muddy paths and once again steep climbs. Later the path widens and levels off until it ends completely flat at the Rock to Padstow ferry. The strong wind is the only thing that still bothers you when you circle the wide bay of Polzeath for kilometers.

Super beautiful and exhausting and a splendor of flowers. Daisies etc...
Up and down stairs again and again...

Great hike with lots of elevation gain, an adder in Port Quinn, a secluded castle just outside Port Isaac and stunning views of the coastline. The highlight - especially for Doc Martin fans - is the charming and winding fishing village of Port Isaac. The way back contains some shortcuts, i.e. in particular fewer meters of altitude....
