Coastal Path to Fire Beacon Point and Beeny Cliff

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

This is the lower of the two paths to get to fire beacon point. Be prepared on the lower path, narrow path but hugs so close to the edge it's incredible. The steps are not to bad on the way down, even little legs like mine can cope but, on the way up these little legs had to make a few giant leaps. The other route does go through a cattle field and there are more ponies so if you have a dog best to keep them on the lead.

High Cliff

Highlight • Viewpoint

Standing at 735 feet (223 m) tall, High Cliff, as its name suggests, is Cornwall's highest cliff. After a steep push to the summit, you're rewarded with awe-inspiring views over the Cornish coastline and far out to sea. Look out for herds of Soay sheep or goats, which graze the inhabitable cliffs with surprising ease.

View of Samphire Rock from Saint Gennys Beach

Highlight • Natural Monument

Make sure you find an excuse to take a pew here and enjoy the beautiful views. To Cambeak Headland to the north and The Strangles to the south.

Cambeak Cairn and Coastal View

Highlight • Natural Monument

A glorious headland marked by a small cairn. Accessing it requires a tricky little scramble and quite a narrow ridge, which adds to the excitement. There are superb views south along the coast towards Tintagel and north towards Bude.

Pentargon Cliff and Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

If you walk a short while on the South Coast Path from Boscastle Harbour to the north, you come to Pentargon Cliff and beautiful Pentargon Waterfall. The waterfall is best sighted just before getting there when you are reaching a stone stile about five minutes before. Allow 3-4 hours for the walk and to have a nice visit.
