The Planplatten are a striking vantage point above Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland, located at an elevation of 2,245 meters. They are the mountain destination of the gondola lift from Hasliberg Reuti via Bidmi, Mägisalp, and Käserstatt. The gondola takes you up to the Alpentower. The hike starts from here. Enjoy the first view of the impressive mountains. The path leads you over the Häägenalpe, past flowering alpine meadows.
From Häägen you continue uphill until you reach the saddle and can already see the Käserstatt mountain station.
