View of Hohensalzburg Fortress

Highlight • Viewpoint

Despite its cosmopolitan status and almost everything you could wish for from a city, Salzburg has somehow retained the charm of a village compared to countless other big cities. This photo is a great example of this charm.

Nice tour on the Mozartweg along the Salzach to Salzburg on the way back to the Königssee and the Mass for. 6.99 always tastes good and the view of the Königssee is always beautiful.

That was an awesome tour. From the first stage (E1 to E4) to the last. Start was in Murnau, up to the Königssee and then 🚴 ♀️🚴 ♀️🚴 ♀️ to Salzburg to the train.
The weather for the first two days was ideal, sunny with few clouds (15 - 20 degrees).
Angels 😇 must have been out on Saturday and …

After a good breakfast we drove to Salzburg to begin our journey home
At the end it drizzled very lightly in the windy, gray weather. Got through a week without rain gear.👍
It was super nice.🚴🚴🌞

A beautiful day...the sun is shining 🌞 after breakfast I hop on my bike. I'm now cycling along familiar paths from Schönau to Berchtesgaden. The ride continues briskly and with a few tough climbs, mostly along the Ache river through Marktschellenberg.

At the end of the BKR (see my collection) a detour to Salzburg.

From Oberschönau to Salzburg - after a short stopover in Berchtesgaden - it's actually always slightly downhill. The first part of the path goes beautifully along the Berchtesgadener Ache. A section of the route as you would expect, apart from a small section on the busy B305.

By train to Salzburg and along the Mozart Cycle Path up to Berchtesgaden. Unfortunately, no mountain panorama today, but wonderfully refreshing temperatures of around 20°C 🤩

Well, that's really it now. Today we drove again in the most beautiful 🌞 from Berchtesgaden on one stage of the Mozart Cycle Path to Salzburg. This afternoon we looked at the city and tomorrow we'll go home with the 🚅.
