February 22, 2025,Naturschutzgebiet Kiesgruben – Hütte Runde von Weilbach
This early in the year, the area is not yet so worthwhile. But we do see goats and the famous kulans (wild donkeys). And the food at the Wild Donkey is always good.

Since it was nice and frozen, I thought I would drive to the Weilbach gravel pits again. Unfortunately, the paths are often very muddy in many places.
So I took advantage of this weather and the dogs stayed clean 😊
If you're lucky, you can also see the kulans that live there in the fenced-in area. But they aren't nice …

Today, Sunday, there will be no hike due to the forecast for a lot of rain. And as is the case with weather forecasts, they are not always accurate. At least my morning walk with the dogs remained dry.
