June 25, 2024,🌾 Moselgold & Weitblick – Rundtour mit Loreley-Flair

This tour was a true Mosel highlight: perfect weather, golden fields, blooming poppies – and, in between, quiet spots with panoramic views. From the Wetterstein via the Eichhaus to the Moselloreley, history, nature, and enjoyment were perfectly combined. The tour was varied, easy to walk, and full of little discoveries.

The route is part of an educational wine trail with many information boards. The views of the Moselle are magnificent. We …

The start and finish is the small town of Minheim, very well signposted, and you can take a relaxed hike here. It's best to take a bottle of wine from the vending machine beforehand and enjoy it at …

Minheim an der Mittelmosel lies in a pronounced loop of the Moselle, which is characterized by gentle slopes and a low altitude. The people of Minheim themselves advertise that they live on the “Sun Island”. And the Sonneninselrundweg promises pure sunshine all day long - provided it shines.
Today is a sunny day and I want to see if …
