Beautiful route with lots of viewpoints, snack huts and shelters. There were still lots of grapes to snack on and the backpack was getting heavier because of the many large chestnuts.....😉

Today we hiked in Nussbach and walked the Bottenau - Nussbach wine loop. First on asphalt for quite a long time, but later on beautiful forest paths and through the vineyards with beautiful views and late summer temperatures.

A very beautiful path, especially through what feels like a fruit salad! Fruit and vegetable plantations everywhere you look. Absolutely fantastic! The paths through the vineyards and Staufenberg Castle are also simply fantastic 👍!!! Not to mention the views of the Rhine plain, the Vosges Mountains, and Strasbourg Cathedral, make this tour truly worthwhile.

The hike comes in a similar form from Komoot and is called "Weinschleife Bottenau".
The stretches in the forest were beautiful despite and because of the fog. The parts through the vineyards were rather depressing. I therefore skipped the detour to Staufenberg Castle. The wine would probably have tasted good even without a view of France, but I'll make up …

The tour starts at the school in Nußbach. The wine loop leads through meadows, orchards, forests, and, of course, vineyards. There are few paths and some are paved. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful route, especially in spring. Here and there, you'll come across the Nußbacher Ge(h)nuss Wegle (Nußbacher Ge(h)nuss Wegle). Those who wish can plan a detour to Durbach Castle. From …

On day 2 of our hiking retreat we were on the Nussbacher Weinweg. The weather cooperated, there were wonderful views to Strasbourg and beyond. The paths through the vineyards were wonderful to walk on and the many chirping stations were not to be despised either😏. The outdoor service was particularly nice.... Schee wars🥾🐕‍🦺🙏⛅

Today we used the day off and did an extensive hike, from Nesselried to the Höhenweg with many great views of the Rhine Valley and the Strasbourg Cathedral
