The lake is beautiful and we really enjoyed walking around. Being in the shade of the trees and watching the birds, fish, and lizards swimming around was just amazing and a well-needed change to our hours on the bikes. We took a boat ride with the company Joy around the lake and unfortunately were very disappointed. The ride was short and the boat operator spent the entire time asking us for a tip. If you want to enjoy the lake we recommend to do it from the shore.
