A wonderful hike on the Schafberg from Winkl. We had to cover a total of more than 1100 meters in altitude. Especially the beginning of the hike through the forest was very demanding, due to the steep incline and the wet ground. An absolutely recommendable route, good footwear and top physical condition required.
