You can find additional tips and photos in the Claymoor Beck highlight. Steep descent with handrail downstream of the wooden footbridge, where the boundary between the path and the beck blurs, and they almost become one and the same, making the rocks a bit slippery.

Runswick Bay is one of the prettiest coastal destinations in Yorkshire and a must-see if you enjoy traditional British seaside. With a sweeping, sheltered bay, sandy beach, clean waters, rock pools and fossils to be found, it's a great place to relax, swim and play. There are fantastic cliff-top walks in this area, too.
