Maszewo Mill

A mill in this place already existed in the fourteenth century, but the current building dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It was later extended in the early 20th century. It was then raised by one floor and a residential building was added. It has a direct connection to the mill.

After 1945, the mill was taken over by the State Treasury, and then transferred to the State Grain Works in Nowogard. The next owner was the Maszewo Commune, which leased the building in 1990 and then sold it. Today, the building is again for sale. The entire mechanism and devices have been preserved in the building. The mill is still operational, although it has already been converted to electric drive.

Villa at 20 Jedności Narodowej Street

The villa at 20 Jedności Narodowej Street was built at the beginning of the 20th century. It is the only such example of Art Nouveau architecture in the city. The building is covered with a gable roof with a projection in the northern part of the front. The façade has decorations made of red brick. Particular attention is drawn to the characteristic turret located in the south-east corner of the building. The turret is covered with a roof in the shape of a regular pyramid, additionally there are decorative pinnacles on the top and in each of the four corners. The building has no entrance from the front, it can be accessed from the back or through a small porch on the north side.
