There was a lot to see today. Information worth reading along the Altenauer Herzweg and the water hiking trail along some of the facilities of the Upper Harz water system. The facilities at the iron spring have recently been repaired. The dead spruce trees and treeless hills are giving way to rowan trees, beeches and hazel trees.
