Walton-on-the-Naze Beach

Highlight • Beach

This walk is wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Nice pleasant walk for children with plenty of toilets along the route. Safe dirt road runs parallel for those on bikes. Finishes with a small sand beach beside a cafe with a limited menu. Plenty of picnic spots

Naze Tower

Highlight • Historical Site

A striking tower sticking out of the East Anglian coast. Worth a visit just to have a look at the structure, but there is also a viewing platform, tea room and exhibitions through the summer.

The approach to the tower can be visited all year long, but the tower itself if only open from 1st April to 31st Oct.

Fantastic view down the hill at start or end of route Cycle Network 150 towards Walton and its Pier, with a Seaside shelter to protect from the extremes of the weather, and offering a needed spot to rest up or fuel up

National Cycle Route 150 Coastal Path

Highlight (Segment) • Cycleway

The route is unmade - gravel and patches of sand - for a lot of the distance. Just about passable on a road bike but not ideal and really more suited for gravel tyres.
