The Zillierbachtalsperre or Zillierbach dam is a dam, waterworks and reservoir built between 1934 and 1936 in the eastern part of the Harz in Saxony-Anhalt between Oberharz am Brocken and Wernigerode in the Harz district.
Its 45 m high dam dams the Zillierbach to form the Zillierbach reservoir, which is about 24 hectares in size.
The dam serves to protect against flooding in the villages located below its dam, including the Zillierbach, and with its waterworks it provides drinking water to many nearby towns, which is why it is located in a large drinking water protection area with the surrounding forests.
