miners

Highlight • Monument

Mining is simply part of the Erzgebirge region, which makes it even nicer that a separate area has been created just for it. Many detailed figures of miners at work and in front of the nativity scene can be seen here.

Today we went to Blockhausen for the 4th LSV hike to test the route. It's truly amazing what they've created there. The newest theme, "Indians," was also worth a visit.

Today was the fourth hike for the LSV hiking group. We started off with some apprehension about the weather, but this was quickly forgotten during a very pleasant hike to Blockhausen. In Blockhausen, everyone had the opportunity to admire the sculptures created there. After a very pleasant excursion, we rewarded ourselves with ice cream at the Flora Cafe in Mulda.
