Santa Ponsa Windmill

The historic mill of Santa Ponça was used to grind grain to obtain flour for making bread. It features a sloping decagonal structure (the so-called Cintell) with an attached ramp that gives access to the almost 11 m high tower.

The mill was originally part of the Possessió de Santa Ponça estate. After the donation to the City of Calvia and the renovation work carried out, the mill has become one of the most important historic buildings in the municipality of Calvià.
