Prüßsee Bathing Island

Elbe-Lübeck Canal at Witzeeze

The canal has a charming bank landscape with avenues made of poplars and many adjacent lakes e.g. Lanzer See and Möllner See. An idyllic trip with the excursion boat "Lüneburger Heide" from Lauenburg to Mölln and back is therefore recommended.
Because of the damaging waves that could destroy the bank reinforcement, watercraft are only allowed to travel at a speed of 10 km / h.

The Schiffer`s Rast inn with overnight accommodation is located directly at the Witzeeze lock. The large terrace invites you to linger.
