Val Mora Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Flow! That probably best describes this great trail. For me, the trail remains one of my favorite trails on the Albrecht route and in the Alps. Everything is just right here – not too easy, not too difficult. That leaves enough time to look and marvel. Because the nature and the panorama are also breathtaking. You first drive through the wide high valley of Val Mora and then the wide path narrows to a single trail in a gorge. There are a few places here where you better be careful. But the path never becomes really dangerous. In a lively ups and downs you finally reach the end of the gorge. The valley widens again and you come to Lago di San Giacomo die Fraele.

Wooden Bridge in Val Mora

Highlight • Bridge

The little bridge is located approximately at the transition from the Val Mora Pass to the Val Mora. From here on, the "up and down" of the Val Mora Pass route is over. It now continues almost flat, very easily up the Val Mora to the Döss Radond watershed.

PS: The picture by "Andy" (him again!) doesn't fit here, it shows ruins at Lago di San Giacomo di Fraele.

Splendid location, summer hut of the famous Agriturismo Rini in Bormio. Spectacular place, e-bike recharge, great food. What to ask for more?

Val Trela Singletrack

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This is a fabulous path that connects Malga Trela with Lake Livigno with an always gentle slope that allows you to walk it in both directions. A very entertaining stretch without any technical difficulty. What smoothness!

Lake Livigno

Highlight • Lake

This area of the high mountains offers fantastic views: descending from Val Alpisella the lake remains hidden, but towards the end of the descent it begins to show itself and becomes a mirage in the middle of the valley.

Flow trail

Highlight • Trail

This is a fantastic path in the undergrowth, easily reachable even by those who are beginners with a mountain bike guide. Walking along it you have the feeling of being lost in nature, even if you are not far from the town of Livigno.
