This was a decent test of endurance, determination and stamina. Once turned south before Lochearnhead the land becomes remote with a rugged track, it is up and down constantly, the surface is not smooth and it needs strong exertion to gain motion. Part of the way down it becomes very remote, no sheep, no dry stone walls, no trees. The …
