This a wonderfully positioned bench that can be found on one of the many woodland trails that work their way up Dodd in the Northern Lake District. A great place to stop and rest weary feet.

This is a simple walk to the summit of Dodd in the northern fells. Starting and finishing at The Old Sawmill Tearoom, which is ideal for some post-hike refreshments, this easy hike takes you to the 1,612ft top of Dodd, a superb little hill with excellent views across Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite.

Lovely walk through the woods with stunning views at the summit.
