Steckeschlääferklamm — Tree Spirits (Baumgeister) Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Gorge

You are never alone along the Hasselbach. Out of numerous trees, a curious forest ghost observes. There are over 60, including witches, goblins, elves and trolls, the creek leads past almost all of them. Who can find them all?

Some sections are very monotonous, others very varied.

Snow hike with @GaBi W in the local Bingen Forest.
The Morgenbachtal offered beautiful winter views! The sun was hiding from us today, it only peeked out when we were in the stream valley.
The unpositioned photos are of Gabi, whose tour was unfortunately not fully recorded.

Why is it so beautiful on the Rhine? 🙂

A worthwhile excursion, but an important cross-path is closed for the "short" lap through the Morgenbachtal. Risk of landslide.
This year's storm just spared the Morgenbachtal well.

Hike with Gabi and Judith.
Snow excursion in the local Binger forest.
Unfortunately, there was already a thaw and some of the paths were rather muddy.

For four weeks I was unfit for outdoor activities due to a persistent flu infection. Not bad, just very tedious. It's slowly getting better, but I still have to slow down.

A highly recommended tour! Many highlights and a great variety. It really gives you that holiday feeling.

Today there was a very refreshing start through the cool Morgenbachtal.🌳🌳🌳🌳
A blessing in these temperatures. 🙂
The detour through the Steckeschlääferklamm was also in the shade and made the hike pleasant.
After that it became changeable with shady sections and at times very warm.
Overall it was a very nice route.🌞
