A unique museum on the Western Front that focuses on aerial warfare during WW1. Owners are very hospitable.
Lots of explanation about the role, evolution and importance of the aircraft during the war years. Obviously a lot of attention for Georges Guynemer. A French legendary aviation hero who disappears on September 11, 1917 above Poelkapelle. By the age of 22 he had achieved 53 recognized aerial victories and was nicknamed “ace”.
