Beautiful hike with magnificent views, quite short but given the differences in altitude and the not always easy surface, it is not suitable for everyone. Perhaps I would opt for a direction of travel in the opposite direction to the one indicated here, with the direct climb (even if considerable) to Tamburone and return from the town of Vergheto.
