The path leaves the forest and enters Bustiello de Paredes, home to the Hoces del Esva Interpretation Centre. Bustiello is an old cowboy town with traditional hórreos, stone and wood houses, some picturesque buildings and a green and pleasant environment. After the exciting and wild crossing in the Hoces del Esva, the open and serene landscape of the Bustiello pastoral fields seems from another time in any other place. In the center of the village there is a fork in front of a granary with the white and yellow markings of the short-distance path.
