Troll Forest at De Schorre

Highlight • Forest

Seven giant trolls - some busy, others blowing off their hard work - live in De Schorre, off the beaten path and hidden in nature. One of the giants carves figures out of a totem pole, while one of his big friends gets water and another makes a necklace. Another is collecting rocks and a couple of trolls are resting on the grass, searching for mysterious cloud figures in the sky. Finding them all is a nice walk through De Schorre.

Deltaweide - Mainstage TML

Highlight • Structure

Many festival goers experience their annual highlight here. Outside the festival period, this location is very busy with high-flyers at weekends. Novice hang gliders try their luck here every Sunday morning. Nice to come and have a look.

Trolls Una and Jeuris

Highlight • Monument

Always inviting to lie down next to or with Una and Jeuris. Watch the hang gliders every Sunday morning. Attending a festival now and then. And if there is nothing to do in De Schorre, just gaze at the clouds together.

Observation tower at Trol Kamiel

Highlight • Viewpoint

Very playful, contemporary tower that fits the story of the Trolls. Downstairs, Troll Kamiel watches over this location. Curious how far you can see in clear weather? On this watchtower you can easily see the Atomium - Brussels, Sint Romboutstoren - Mechelen and the Antwerp Cathedral of Our Lady on the horizon.

Came especially for the trolls but couldn't walk the planned walk, were still tearing down Tomorrowland.
We were able to walk in the Troll forest and saw most of the Trolls.
Unfortunately Una and Jeuris were not available, are on the festival site, those 2 photos are from the internet 😅

We had a false start. It seemed easy to walk but we encountered brushes at the beginning, so we quickly exchanged our white sneakers for high hiking boots. Very nice and beautiful forest, lots to see, lots to do. The event area is also large and beautiful.
For mountain bikers there is a bike park!

Today we played around with some trolls.
They can be found on the Schorre in Boom. There two were very slow. They lay sprawled on their backs, staring at the sky and our wooffer then also got her crazy cures 🤪😜 The next troll was having fun at a pond. Apparently he was filling a bucket with water but it …

The famous Tomorrowland Festival takes place once a year in the "De Schorre" recreational area. Today, luckily, it was much more relaxed and we were able to search for the many hidden trolls in peace. A really great park in former clay pits that offers everything from pure nature to fun and action.
