A lovely hike following hinrich.heine's tip. UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Absolute silence, lots of birds, three beavers, swans, herons. Eight dogs and five people. A fantastic end to the day at the Herr Biber castle café in Bleckede. Tastefully decorated, the castle itself beautifully renovated. Inside is the Biosphere Reserve, which I'll visit sometime.

Recommended here, the Biosphaerium Elbtalaue (4€), it's worth it and you can take a little break.
If you want it a little more comfortable, go a little further into town and order an ice cream, a piece of cake or just a coffee at Mancini.
