On the western side of the peninsula, in the transition to the Gökalv headland, is the natural beach Gökalv Badplats. If you follow the blue-marked hiking trail northwards, after around 1.5 kilometers you will reach a large burial ground from the Iron Age, which is located on the higher, rocky plain of Nötanabben at the northern tip of the peninsula.
In the interior of the peninsula there are several swamp forests in which the tree population consists mainly of alder. Near the mostly rocky shore areas, on the other hand, there are sandy substrates and heathland as well as grazed beach meadows.
