Clumber Park was once the home of the Duke of Newcastle but the mansion was demolished in 1938. It's now a beautiful estate of parkland, heath, woods and the lake. It's now managed by the National Trust. The parkland is free to access but there are paid entry or members areas.
NT cafes, ice cream van and shop on site.
There are also over 20miles of traffic free cycle ways on the estate, most are better suited for a mountain or touring bike but they are flat and not technical so if you don't mind getting a bit muddy...

Lime Tree Avenue

Highlight • Trail

Lime Tree Avenue is one of Clumber Parks most striking features. At around two miles long, and lined with 1,296 lime trees, it's recognised as the longest double avenue of lime trees in Europe. Leading into the heart of the park, it's a wonderful place that gives a very strong sense of arrival.

Clumber Park Bridge

Highlight • Historical Site

The bridge was the original approach to Clumber Park prior to the development of the famous lime tree avenue. It dates from the 18th Century and crosses an ornamental lake that was created by the damming of the River Poulter.

Clumber Park contains 30km of great running, walking and cycling paths. The original house was demolished in 1938 after fire damage, so now the park is free to enter and explore. There are cafe and toilet facilities.

The Lincoln Stables now serve as the home of Clumber's Heritage Hub, a visitor center, and a second-hand bookshop. They also offer a variety of food and beverage options.
