During the Thirty Years' War, the village, as well as the vicarage and the church, burned down, as did many others in the area. At that time it was already a pastorate.
It belonged for example Godendorf to this parish. As a pastor Simon Stadius is listed, who served in later years in Strasen service.
After war and plague, the small community was without church and pastor for decades. Finally, during a visitation in 1664, it was found that the ancients of the place could not remember that they had been taught or tested their knowledge of the catechism. There was no church at the time. Apparently, the pastor of Fürstenberg at that time was responsible for Dabelow. When, in 1704, a parish was to be established again, the congregation refused to accept the building duties associated with it.
So Dabelow 1736 was assigned to the newly built community in Wokuhl.
The present church is a rectangular half-timbered building from the 19th century by Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel (1796-1869). Built after a list of works in the years 1854 and 1855.
