November 19, 2021,Ratingen/Duisburg: Wanderung durch Rahmer Benden und Grindsmark zur Duisburger Seenplatte
Sorry for the poor photos ... 🥺
The weather was so cloudy and cloudy, all pictures just gray on gray ... 😖

"... Anyone who says there is only gray in the Pott has little idea. A nice counterexample is provided by the Duisburg Lake District, the Grindsmark forest area to the south and the Rahmer Benden …

Today I walked with Ulrike, Angela, and Sabine from Angermund through the beautiful autumn forest 🍃🍁 to the Sechsseenplatte. I stopped off at the bakery "More than Bread" in Angermund ☕️🍰. It was a nice, leisurely autumn walk 😄 with beautiful trails in the Rahmer Benden, along the Sechsseen, and along the Dickelsbach stream 👍

I wanted to experience the stunning autumn colors in all their glory one last time. So I went for a short walk that led mostly through the woods.

I wanted to stay close to home, so I started in Ratingen Lintorf :-)

The observation tower is definitely worth a visit.

And today the visibility was fantastic and clear.

We're once again collecting donations for the Ambulatory Children's and Youth Hospice Service of Southern Münsterland as part of a challenge to accumulate as many kilometers as possible over a two-month period.

This is incredibly motivating to get plenty of fresh air and exercise during the dark winter months.

Donations are entirely voluntary.
