There is a chainlink ferry in East Cowes, its pretty slow so if youve just missed it (like i did) expect about a 30 min wait. Apart from that, a lovely loop of the island.

My annual ride on Isle of Wight - beautiful sceneries and long descends.
This year I rode it in November. It is still pretty, but it's different from summer time.
Will return next year -- I hope to do a Chalk Ridge extreme ride as it should be just as amazing as full road circle
