Highlight • Cycleway

Depending on the direction, roll relaxed or slightly uphill. But whatever a good asphalt, it can be built into the tour very well.

for info:

The Henstedt Village Museum is a privately owned local history museum in Syke-Henstedt in the Diepholz district in Lower Saxony.

It was founded by Waltraut Köhler, who exhibited privately collected museum objects from Henstedt and the surrounding area in her own rooms. The “Village Museum – Henstedt as it used to be” is now known far beyond the small Syker district.

The village museum is located south of the Henstedt town center on the road to Bassum-Neubruchhausen.

The main focus of the exhibition is spread over 175 m² of exhibition space in a former stable building: old farm equipment and objects from agriculture, home economics, Henstedt school history and the lives of children in earlier times. The structural change in the village of Henstedt from 1867 to the present is documented. A bunker from the Second World War can also be visited.

Thorsten Köhler serves as the museum director on a voluntary basis. Waltraut Köhler, the museum's founder, wrote several writings that make the museum's collections accessible. (Source: wikipedia)
