The city walls of Dubrovnik, especially multi-sided, are an absolute must! Although many Croatia connoisseurs already swarmed me by this wall, I was absolutely overwhelmed !!!!

August 21, 2025,CROAZIA. Dubrovnik Tour per la città
The price for a tour of the Dubrovnik walls...shameless as it may seem...it's a whopping €40 per person...it's unclear why...the walls don't need maintenance and have been standing on their own for centuries...parking costs €35...pure madness...but there's no space and you're forced to get "fooled"!

In spring-like weather, we walked through the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik with its narrow streets and beautiful old buildings. There is an entrance fee to walk along the 2-kilometer-long city walls, but it was worth it for the beautiful views of the sea and the red roofs of Dubrovnik.

This cloudy morning, we took the opportunity to visit Dubrovnik's Old Town.
The walk along the city walls is worthwhile for the views, but at €40 per adult, it's not cheap.
In the Old Town itself, there's more Italian food than Croatian – which is a shame. Of course, there are also crowds and souvenir shops.

We learned a lot about the city's origins, history, competition with Venice in maritime trade, the earthquake that almost destroyed the city. Also a lot about the current era ...

😎😎😎 Very very exciting 😎😎😎
A quick word about the city wall itself: it's a dream! A perfectly preserved fortification, and therefore an absolute must for every visitor.

There are a lot of steep steps to climb, but it's well worth it to see the city from a different perspective. Entry costs €35, but with the Dubrovnik Card you can see the city wall, bus, …

In the morning, we took the 10 km bus to Dubrovnik. We had breakfast there and then toured the old town. The city is fascinating and interesting, and the view from the city walls is impressive.

The entrance fee is €40, which is reasonable, as many of the buildings are undergoing repairs. There were few tourists around today, so we …
