The Moosdorf in Brennersgrün is a lovingly designed miniature world directly on the Rennsteig. It consists of small houses, landscapes, and mills, which were mostly built by locals and school classes from natural materials such as moss, bark, twigs, and slate.

Petra Hartenstein from Brennersgrün began building the first miniatures in the miniature world directly on the Rennsteig trail back in 2001. Using sticks, moss, bark, small slate stones, roots, cones, tree fungi, and other materials, a small universe was created.
