Every Sunday from 2 p.m. there is coffee and homemade cake.
Throughout the year, various events, children's events, markets and cultural events take place. (Due to Corona, all events were cancelled until 31.10.2020).
The ruin offers an event room for up to approx. 70 people.

As the ancestral seat of the noble family of the same name, the von Hornsteins, the castle underwent several construction phases until it was converted into a stately Baroque palace around 1700. In 1787, the Hornsteins sold their property to the Princes of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen.
