The information board explains the history, procedures & network for measuring water levels in Saxony. (clearly it is forbidden to use the small steel bridge, yes, hello, that is what the very low-hanging prohibition signs make absolutely clear!)

We hang the signs higher.
But whether the signs are at the bottom or at the top or anywhere else, they are clearly visible and it is therefore FORBIDDEN to walk across the measuring bridge.

Absolutely, Uwe. It can't be emphasized enough: Possible, but PROHIBITED.
