The Heckel brewery in Waischenfeld is one of the smallest breweries in Germany, as the beer is only served in the pub. There is no sale of bottles, but of course you can bring your own vessel and take the drinkable beer home with you. In my opinion, one of the best beers in Upper Franconia is served here. The opening times are: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday from 4.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
