At the upper end of the village center stands the St. Valentine's Church (St. Valentine, the Apostle of Raetia), whose predecessors are said to have stood here since the Christianization of the area around 400 by St. Valentine. A church consecration is documented from the 11th century, when the building was enlarged. The current parish church dates from 1509 (consecrated in 1512 by Auxiliary Bishop Stefan) and was later remodeled in the Baroque style (18th century) and in 1832 in the Romanesque Revival style.
