🌿 Upper French Creek Wetlands
A hidden little nature gem along Jaycox Road in Avon. Until recently, this 48-acre area was part of the Bob-O-Link Golf Course. In 2025 it was opened to walkers as the Upper French Creek Wetlands, giving nature the opportunity to gradually reclaim the land.
The former golf-cart paths now make for easy and pleasant walking trails through wetlands, meadows and young woodland. Around 1.25 miles (2 km) of trail are currently open, with more trails planned for the future.
