At the ticket window, ask first whether the combined ticket covering both Lion Hill and the Mu Family Mansion is available — if it is, take it here, as it works out cheaper than buying the two separately. If they are not selling the combined ticket at this gate, just pay for the hill and buy the Mansion ticket later at the connecting gate on the way down.

The climb up is the steep side; going down towards the Mansion afterwards is the easier direction.
