Range XI is one of the main access points into the Monts Stoke trail network. From here, trails head north along the Chapman ridge and east towards the East Angus sector, where the route eventually connects with Vallée Heureuse du Mont-Élan near Westbury. The surrounding forest is fairly quiet, and this junction is useful if you want to link several sections of the wider 28-kilometre network.
