The viewpoint at the end of the track gives you a clear look across to Westmorland Falls without having to scramble your way across the rocks below. Access here was improved in 2026, with an extended walkway and new handrail bringing the viewing point closer to the falls. It’s worth stopping here first before deciding whether conditions are suitable for heading down towards the rocky area at the base.
