1872 Heritage Railway Trail follows part of Jarrahdale’s historic timber tramway, which once transported logs from the surrounding forests to Rockingham. It’s a well-marked trail that winds through jarrah forest and along sections of the old railway, and is a relatively quiet area. It’s a lovely route for a mix of local history, wildflowers, and peaceful bushwalking.
