Cox's Cave Circuit is a well-marked, 1.8-kilometre loop that takes you through open eucalypt forest, down into lush fern-filled gullies, and past impressive sandstone overhangs and cliffs. You’ll encounter a 20-metre steel ladder that leads to the enormous Cox's Cave, and the trees briefly open along the way to nice views of the Mount Boyce cliffs. You can also visit the grotto, a sandstone alcove formed by a seasonal waterfall. The track is generally easy to follow, although some sections can be slippery after rain.
