Hiking
The Volary stream (Volarský potok) flows through Volary from north to south. In the town center, it runs underground in pipes. The stream is eleven kilometers long and flows into the Teplá Vltava. In the past, its course was used as a sewer, which is why it is sometimes disparagingly called "Smradlák" (toilet). It is currently being revitalized.
