The Owenea River flows west from Lough Ea in the Blue Stack Mountains to the sea in Loughrosmore Bay north of Ardara. The riverside walking trail is a peaceful path, walking through farmland in rural Donegal. This is the last footbridge but there is one road bridge further downstream.
