Beautiful summit on the Italy-France border.
The ascent from Italy is classified as F, as from the pass to the summit there is no path and you have to use your hands among the rocks. From France, on the other hand, it is much simpler and there is a trail trace all the way to the summit.
We recommend the loop with ascent from the Col Ouest du Mercantour and descent from the Lac du Mercantour, returning to Italy via the Colle di Ciriegia.
