Fir Baby Trail is a relatively easy singletrack that winds through mature second-growth forest, with a few small creek crossings along the way. Originally built for mountain biking, the gentle grades and well-defined trail also make it popular for walking and trail running close to town. It’s the perfect route for a short walk to get out and enjoy the peaceful scenery the Alberni Valley is known for.
