Cosola is a hamlet of Cabella Ligure, located in the upper Val Borbera at about 900 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Chiappo, Ebro and Cavalmurone mountains. For centuries it was one of the most important villages in the Apennines of the Four Provinces, on the border between Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna.
